Let’s start at the beginning.. where are you from?

I am from Hattiesburg, the best city in Mississippi! If passing through the area, it’s a fantastic little hub to visit… just be warned, if visiting during summer months, be prepared to take a shower after simply checking the mail because it is hot!
Hattiesburg was such a wonderful place to grow up and I’ll always consider it home.

Where did you attend college?

I started my collegiate softball journey at Florida Southwestern State College, situated in a quaint beach town in Fort Myers, Florida.

FSW held an intriguing twist for me; it was a school I initially declined during my recruiting phase. Although I hesitated about joining a junior college team, in the end, it emerged as one of the most pivotal choices I’ve ever made. Given the chance, I would have extended my playtime to a full four years. The impact it had on me was truly transformative, and my gratitude towards FSW knows no bounds – it will forever occupy a special space in my heart.

After my two years were up at FSW, an unexpected opportunity arose: transferring to Mississippi State. This was a surprising turn, especially considering I hadn’t envisioned returning to Mississippi post-high school graduation. Nevertheless, MSU became a reality for me, and once again, I wouldn’t trade that experience for anything. The underlying lesson here is to eliminate the word “never” from your vocabulary –  life’s twists can lead to remarkable outcomes!

How has your degree helped you in your professional life?

In so many ways! I started with an undeclared major in broadcast journalism, but I wasn’t sure if it was the route I wanted to pursue for a career. I made the decision to declare Business Administration because I desired a broader range of knowledge in foundational areas such as accounting, finance, marketing, operations, and management.

Why are clients going to love working with you?

This career affords me the opportunity to build genuine connections and make an impact, which is what I love. I’m always looking forward to collaborating with our incredibly smart team and clients to create meaningful partnerships and drive success for their programs.

What are your hobbies/favorite things to do outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy Pilates. If you are looking for a great workout, I recommend checking out the channel “Move with Nicole” on YouTube—do not blame me if you hate me later (no, this is not sponsored).

Another thing I love is visiting the flea market. It is dangerous how many things you can find for under $30. As they say, one man’s junk is another man’s treasure, and I live for those Saturday/Sunday mornings at the flea market.

Also, I’ve recently reignited my love for reading, and my friends and I have started a little book club.

So, if anyone has any fantastic recommendations, please let me know!
